You may not even realize all the ways that vinegar can come in handy or useful.  Seeing that vinegar can be used so much it a natural choice when it comes to cleaning, taking odors out, getting rid of bug and helps with many other jobs.  Vinegar is readily available not to mention economically cheaper than many cleaning solutions, bug sprays and weed killers that are available on the market today.  Vinegar is one single item available that can be used for many multiple uses.  Read the following to get many useful tips on using vinegar.

If you own a house that has the cast iron radiators then you know how important it is to keep the valves clean and free of debris so that they function properly.  To keep these valves clean and in working order boil a pot with a solution of equal parts of water and apple cider vinegar.  Boil the valves for about twenty minutes.  After boiling for twenty minutes in the solution made up of apple cider vinegar and water take the valves out of the water and bake them in the oven until they are dried out.  To see how effective this apple cider vinegar and water solution works at cleaning out your valves then take a look at the bottom of the pan that you had boiled them in.  Now your radiator valves will be clean and working properly for the heating season.

Grass and weeds have a way of popping up in areas such as cracks in the sidewalk, driveway areas, under porches and other odd areas.  Are you one of these homeowners that has grass growing up through your sidewalk leading to your front door?  If so, try getting rid of with vinegar it is very inexpensive and easy to use unlike store bought weed killer, which can be very expensive and toxic to use.  Once a day for three days straight you could pour hot vinegar on the grass or weeds growing in between the cracks of the sidewalk eventually killing it off and leaving your sidewalk weed free. 

After remove the unsightly weeds and grass growing in between your sidewalk you just might notice some staining that doesn’t seem to want to come off.  Eliminating the staining is very easy to do since all you have to do is pour straight vinegar unto the stain and let it soak over night.  After soaking for the night rinse the vinegar and the stain away.  You will be left with a stain free and weed free sidewalk.
