If you hate those annoying fruit flies that you can get anytime of year, then you need vinegar. Use apple cider vinegar to wash fruit fly attracted spots. Set a bowl of it to rid you house of them. Another way is to put a teaspoon of sugar, two teaspoons apple cider vinegar and several drops of dish soap in a small shallow plastic container. Fill the rest of the way up with water. The flies are attracted to the vinegar, but the soap will kill them. One other way is to take a small bowl and fill it part way with vinegar, and then wrap it with plastic wrap. Poke a few small holes in the wrap and the fruit flies will fly in, but cannot fly out and they will drown in the vinegar. |
