Removing Cigarette Stains from Cultured Marble

I am an ex-smoker with cigarette scorches on her cultured marble dressing table. I've tried EVERY commercial cleaner available to remove these stains . .and finally just gave up and
learned to 'live with it' . . ..then after reading your tips; trying and liking what I used, I decided to try vinegar and baking soda on these stains.
I mixed 1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar with 1 tablespoon of baking soda and scrubbed with areas with 0000 steel wool.VIOLA - with
just a little rubbing the stains came right up!!!!!! I'm sold on vinegar/baking soda.
