Vinegar articles - Quick Vinegar Remedies

Vinegar is not only a great cleaner and chemical for everyday chores and activities, it can also save you time or fix a problem in a pinch.

If you have a corn or callus, soak a piece of stale bread or a cloth in vinegar and tape it over the callus or corn overnight.  For age spots, mix equal parts of onion juice and vinegar and use it daily on age spots.  This will take a few weeks to work, just like the store brands would.

Mix 1/3 rubbing alcohol, 1/3 white vinegar and 1/3 water.  Store it in any old clean dropper bottle and use it to clean out your ears.  This works good on dogs and cats too.  This is a good remedy for swimmers ear also.

Try some vinegar underarms and other area of the body as a natural deodorant.  Medicine for toenail or nail fungus can be expensive.  Use one part vinegar to one part warm water and soak your feet or hands.  This will do the same good as the medicines.  This will also soften your skin.

If you feel the stomach flu coming on, sip on one teaspoon in a half to three-fourths cup of water.  Honey may be added for taste if you want.  This will stop the nauseous feeling without medications.  Vinegar works great for yeast infections too.

Put some in your bath water.  Do this twice daily for a few days and the infection will be gone without using medicines or creams.  If you have irritable bowel syndrome, sip some water with apple cider vinegar during the day.  Those symptoms will disappear.

One teaspoon of vinegar mixed with some honey in hot water will help dissolve painful boils on your body.  Drink two glasses twice a day and you should see some results.  If the boil comes to head where it is going to open, continue to drink the tea.  Use hot packs on the boil for 15-20 minutes three times a day.  This could help save you an unwanted trip to the doctor.

For a stiff neck, take half vinegar half warm water solution and soak a rag in it.  Wring out the rag and wrap it around your neck.  Put a layer of plastic wrap, to save your sheets, and finish up with a towel.  Leave this on over night and in the morning you will feel good as new.
