Vinegar tips - Clean your dishwasher with vinegar

If the inside of your dishwasher is starting to look disgusting, you can clean it without a lot of scrubbing if you have a bottle of vinegar in the cabinet. Pour three cups of vinegar into a bowl and place the bowl right side up on the bottom rack of the dishwasher.

Do not replace any other dishes in the machine, but run it through the wash and rinse cycles. Make sure to shut it off before the drying cycle begins. The normal action of the dishwasher will splash the vinegar all over the inside of the appliance, cleaning as it goes.
